Threads is not coming slowly; since its launch, 30 million users have signed up for Threads by Meta. Threads is a newly launched app by Mark Zuckerberg, owner of Meta. According to him, “Threads” will compete with “Twitter” in a friendly manner. On the other hand, Elon Musk said that Thread is not a competitor because cheating is not fair competition.

However, Threads seems to be a replica of Twitter, but there are some different features and liberties for the users. It allows the users to post up to 500 characters, whereas Twitter restricts them to 280 characters. Threads enable links, photos, and videos with a duration of 5 minutes, but Twitter allows 2 minutes and 20 seconds. You can verify your Instagram account, delete, and edit posts, but you cannot send direct messages. You will not receive trending posts, and you cannot use hashtags.
Some users have expressed concern that they cannot delete their profile without also deleting their Instagram account. According to Meta, users are currently unable to do so because they are working on it. For the time being, they can deactivate their profiles whenever they want. However, the users can download or delete their profiles by visiting their Instagram settings. Currently, This Application is available in over 100 countries, including the United Kingdom. However, it is not yet available in the EU due to regulatory issues.
