A big announcement for all MacBook lovers: Apple may be launching the latest iMac in November 2023. However, they have decided to reveal the release date of the latest iMac with an M3 processor. According to the sources, the company is planning a major event about the latest updates regarding Macs.
However, the 24-inch iMac, which was first released in April 2021, has yet to receive an update. Therefore, Apple is planning new versions of the MacBook Pro. The date for the launch of the MacBook has not been confirmed yet; it could be on the 30th of October or the 2nd of November. However, according to the Bloomberg story, the release date could be November 2, 2023.
Bloomberg Story:
“Mark Gurman” claims that although Apple may be releasing the newest iMac, there is currently a limited supply of its exciting Mac models. However, the 13, 14, 16, and 24-inch iMacs will be available both online and physically in stores shortly.
Since its inception—almost three years now—the 24-inch iMac hasn’t received any updates. Thus, Apple computers are still using the M1 chip, which makes them the only computers in Apple’s lineup. However, what the exact change will be in the upcoming MacBook’s is still uncertain, but Apple is planning to launch new computers.
The new 24-inch iMac will probably update the processor with other changes. It is less clear how Apple would update the top professional lineup’s 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. Their most recent update, however, was made in January for Apple’s top-of-the-line M2 processor. Additionally, according to Mr. Gurman, the display would receive an update, adding more efficient screens to premium laptops.
Bottom Line:
If you have been looking for the latest updates about Apple and iMacs, then there is good news for you. Apple has finally decided to upgrade its 24-inch MacBook’s soon. However, the release date is about to be expected on the 30th of October, or most probably the 2nd of November 2023.
